She is standing in a reflection in water. She might be standing in an illusion. But she is reflected, and thus she

exists. When she throws a rock into the water after a while, she disappears as her reflection turns into ripples on the

water. She becomes water. Some time later the ripples disappear one after another, and her image returns.

miradouro, is a video piece, which portrays a mirror image in water, where we see a woman in a landscape.

The video is projected to the size of a small painting, about 50x40 cm.

miradouro, is the portuguese word for viewpoint,

and these viewpoints are usually located at the highest points of each hill.
